It’s times like these you learn to live again

It has been a strange year. I have had low moments, and there have been times where I have struggled to come to terms with everything that has changed in my life and throughout the world. But I have also made some truly happy memories over the last few months, and I have learnt so much about living life, love, and work.

We are out of the quarantine in the UK, and every day it’s getting more bright, sunny, and warm. From my bedroom window, I can see the people out having a great time drinking and having lunch at the Breakfast club downstairs on the street restaurants. It’s all is very jolly.
But I know there are a lot of people who are still in lockdown all over the world for more than a year now, and I am sure the struggle is real.
But it’s the health of the loved ones and the nation that matters, so it’s important that you stay in, especially people in India and South America, where things seem extremely bad with the new covid variant.

At times like this, when people are struggling, music is more powerful than ever. It gives you hope and comfort.
Sometimes all you need is to listen to that one song that makes you smile and think about your favorite memories. And for me, this BBC Radio 1 Stay Home Live Lounge Song’ Times Like These’ is exactly that.
Some of the biggest music artists collaborated on an extraordinary BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge cover of Foo Fighters’ ‘Times Like These’ from their own homes.

After years of struggling with being around people, with lack of compassion and selfish behaviours, you tend to start accepting things as they are and normalise this behaviour.
But the lockdown intensified these behaviours and me not being ok with it. moving away is sometimes the best medicine, and as the song says

It’s times like these you learn to live again
It’s times like these we give and give again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
It’s times like these, time and time again

Life always gets better when you move away from things that are not right for you ????
This chorus in the song really fills me with so much positivity and love.

The lockdown has made me appreciate the loved ones, close friends, and good, kind-hearted people in general. And also reach out to people that I haven’t spoken to in ages.
It also made me realize how interconnected we all are with each other and with nature, and we all need to keep doing more for others even after the pandemic ends.

Lots of Love
Parag

Lyrics
One, two, three, four
I, I’m a one way motorway
I’m the one that drives away
Then follows you back home
And I, I’m a street light shining
I’m a wild light blinding bright
Burning off alone
It’s times like these you learn to live again
It’s times like these we give and give again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
It’s times like these, time and time again
I, I’m a new day rising
I’m a brand new sky
To hang the stars upon tonight
I, I’m a little divided
Do I stay or run away
And leave it all behind?
It’s times like these you learn to live again
It’s times like these you give and give again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
It’s times like these, time and time again
Let’s go
It’s times like these that we activate
Do something to improve, don’t procrastinate
I’ve been cooking now make a wicked pasta bake
Stream games at 11 but I clap at 8
And I’ll do a facetime if you tempt me
Time to pay back with all the health docs lent me
And for me west ten’s elementary
But right now I wanna see ladbroke grove empty
You get me?
We make it better together we’ll make a better life
Because the pressure is ever upon us every night
And everyday so we pray and we will forever fight
We’ll make it better together, we’ll make a better life
I, I’m a one way motorway
I’m the one that drives away
Then follows you back home
I, I’m a street light shining
I’m a wild light blinding bright
Burning off alone
It’s times like these you learn to live again
It’s times like these you give and give again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
It’s times like these, time and time again
It’s times like these you learn to live again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
