Square Elephant Productions collaborated with BBC StoryWorks on Portrait for Everyone, a powerful branded short film for TECNO Mobile celebrating diversity, representation and the future of inclusive smartphone photography.

The campaign focuses on TECNO’s Universal Tone technology, an AI-powered imaging system designed to capture different skin tones more accurately, naturally and respectfully within the same image. The film looks at how photography, camera technology and AI have not always represented every skin tone equally, and how new innovation can help create a more balanced visual future.

Through warm human storytelling, thoughtful visuals and a strong emotional message, Portrait for Everyone shows how technology can be more inclusive when it is designed with real people in mind. The film celebrates the beauty of different communities, cultures and complexions, while positioning TECNO as a brand using innovation to make everyday photography feel more honest and representative.
